Activities

Our chapter upholds the objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution by supporting local, state, and national programs.

We support our local Honor Flight and we have attended the celebration of their return back to Columbus from their trip to Washington D.C. You don't want to miss out thanking them for their service and welcoming them back with singing and signs celebrating their return. We recognize a student in the JROTC program at a local school with the NSDAR JROTC medal. We have participated in the Gahanna Lights event, where we did chochkes in 2018, environmentally friendly bird feeders in 2019, and collecting plastic for making a bench to be placed in Reynoldsburg. We also support local organizations through donations.

We support the Christian Waldschmidt Homestead, which is maintained and operated by the Ohio DAR.

We also support the NSDAR objectives and programs and if you are going to travel to Washington D.C., please stop by Constitution Hall and the DAR Museum.

Our chapter participates in Wreaths Across America. This organization coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 2,000 locations located in the United States and abroad to remember veterans, honor those who serve, and to teach the value of freedom.
